Class 4 have loved having Miss West back in school for our music lessons. They have been composing their own pieces of music using different notations. Mr Quinn and Mrs Salsedo even got involved!

Week commencing: 11th September 2023

This week, the children have been creating Picasso inspired pieces of artwork. Using sectional colours, Class 4 got to grips with a cubism approach to artwork. 

Week commencing: 4th September 2023

Welcome back, and welcome to Year 4! Class 4 have had a brilliant first week settling into their new classroom with Mr Quinn. Our first class novel this year is... 'The Wild Robot'. Here is number one fan Mrs Marshall reading the opening chapter to us all. 

Week commencing: 20th November 2023

This week, we started our new class novel 'A Bad Beginning' which is the 1st book in 'A Series of Unfortunate Events'. We are getting to grips with the rather unusual, unpleasant writing style adopted by the author Lemony Snicket. However, Mr Quinn, Ms Corrighan and everyone in Class 4 are hooked so far!

Week commencing: 27th November 2023 

Developing our keyboard playing skills with Miss West in music. We are learning about the different keys and the correct way to position our hand when playing. Watch this space!
